She is passionate about addressing the unique challenges faced by this vulnerable population, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to transition into adulthood successfully.Originally from Memphis, TN she moved to Tampa, Florida with her family in 2003, when she was 13 years old. She became pregnant as a senior in high school, which could have been a setback for many. However, fueled by determination, resilience, and a strong desire to provide a great life for her child, she transformed her challenges into opportunities for growth and empowerment. Full of faith and a relentless drive to succeed, Crystal pursued her education while juggling the responsibilities of motherhood. She graduated high school, continued on to college and earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from The University of South Florida.Before joining The C.A.L.I.
