My name is Rui Farias and I have the best job in town, I’m the Executive Director of the St. Petersburg Museum of History. Located on the St. Pete Pier, the Museum of History has been sharing the stories of the Sunshine City for 104 years, and now we get to share them with you here on Radio St. Pete!  We just finished a magical summer. At least to me and my soccer friends all over the world. We were glued to our TVs, watching 104 matches and taking in the craziness of the FIFA World Cup.  Now that Messi has lost. Sorry, Pele and Cristiano Ronaldo will always be the Greatest of All Time, we can turn our soccer attention closer to home. The Tampa Bay Rowdies are having a fantastic season in Al Lang Stadium, and on August 13th the second annual Tampa Bay Soccer Hall of Fame dinner and awards ceremony will be held in Higgins Hall in Tampa.
