S2: Episode 6: Samhain

Episode 6 comes to us from a subscriber who suggested we talk about the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. Maeve and Gary have a great discussion about this time of year, a time for reflection and connection and transition. For those unfamiliar with Samhain it was what paved the way for what we know now as Halloween. Many Celtic people believe that this time of year is when the line between us and our ancestors is at its thinnest and communication with them is easier. It truly is a time where harvest is done, winter is coming and as we transition seasons we have time to reflect on the success of the year. We can take time to remember those that came before us and even connect with them to possibly seek guidance from them.
