S2E4: Mary Stevens - Empowering young women through martial arts and self protection

from Fighter Mindset Podcast · host Dag Terje Helle

I have been so lucky to interview Mary Stevens who is a 3rd degree black belt in Karate. She runs Athena School of Karate and is involved in a project called Fair Fight in one of the most dangerous areas of India, Varanasi, where she is teaching young women who to protect themselves through karate. Mary is a former school teacher and she has been writing books called "Warrior Monkeys". She is a lovely woman who has a big heart for teaching self protection to the vulnerable! Please check out her work through www.athenakarate.com and www.fairfight.nl, where you also can support the work she is doing!
