Tendencies. What are they and why do we have them? The dictionary describes a tendency as “an inclination toward a particular characteristic or type of behavior.”Most people have a tendency to avoid failure because of how it would make them feel, combined with how others will perceive them if they fail. Others have a tendency to lean towards behaviors that are more likely to help them succeed regardless of the latter.We all can go either way depending on the situation and our tendencies.
