S2E8 - 2 Lines Ft. Sergine - April '23

Episode Notes In this episode Scott is joined by Greg Snow, AVG, and first-time guest Sergine Citerme to talk about the 2 Lines Open Mic and more specifically the April 14th event that featured Sergine.  2 Lines is a Philly-based spoken word open mic event hosted and ran by a couple of the Ripe Poets in our community every second Friday of the month.  The episode begins with giving context for 2 Lines as a whole and running through some of the previous features from November 2022 leading up to the April event that featured Sergine. A good chunk of the conversation early on centers on the culture and atmosphere of 2 Lines that make it one of the city’s safest spaces for veteran performers & first-timers alike.  We shift gears midway to chat with Sergine about her featured set on April 14th and how God divinely orchestrated the night from start to finish. Sergine shares about her “seed scattering” perspective as a spoken word artist who desires to share truth with every audience she engages.  Toward the end of the episode, we share stories about specific people at the event who were impacted.
