Eight offers to help Rou practice his new sword skills, but once Rou realizes Eight just plans to stand there he encourages the Warforged to grab a weapon and fight back. Over the course of their journey, Eight changes from a target to a sparring partner. One day, they begin to hear the sound of drums in the distance. Following the sound of the drums, they come upon a village called Springpoint. It isn’t long before they learn the villagers have been plagued by the drumming for the past week and can’t locate the source of the disturbance.
