The Apostle Paul wrote this verse from prison in which he was learning to be content no matter the circumstances that surround him. He wanted to convey this to one of the churches who had been so gracious to him. This verse applies to us as Homemakers. Our homes and what goes on beyond the walls of our homes can be chaotic, overwhelming and the world wants to push in and tell us that we deserve more or should go out and gain more. But it is written that we find true contentment in Christ. When we as Homemakers exude contentment no matter our present circumstance then that really sets a tone for our homes and gives a great example to our kids.
