S3, E10: Into The Unknown by Bad Religion

Bad Religion's controversial Into The Unknown is widely detested, including by the band themselves, but on the latest episode of Didn't Go Platinum, we make the case that it's way better than you might think.Regular host Tim Bolitho-Jones is joined once again by Matt Hudson of Battle Born to discuss the album that nearly led to a premature end to Bad Religion. The punk icons added keyboards and sunshine pop melodies and wrote a miniature prog gem that has more in common with Jethro Tull than anything you'd find on the Warped Tour. Join us for a freewheeling defence of one of punk's most despised records. You can follow Didn't Go Platinum on Threads and Instagram at @dngplatinum or email us at [email protected] Matt and the rest of the Battle Born lads on Instagram and Bandcamp. And be sure to listen to Into The Unknown on YouTube, which remains the only place we could find it.
