S3E1 - Doom 2005

Josh and Ryan are back! Welcome to Season 3 of The CineMEH Podcast! We are kicking off our themed "IP" Season with the 2005 action-horror-scifi classic of mediocrity: DOOM! Based on the groundbreaking 1993 video game about an army of demons from Hell invading a research facility on the Martian moons, this 2005 summer blockbuster? starring The Rock takes a decidedly different turn. Namely, it chooses not to be groundbreaking, not to be exciting, and not to involve demons or Hell. You know- the opposite of DOOM. Our conversation this season includes a weekly question: Would this movie be better if it wasn't the thing it was based off of? So if you want to join in the fun, ask yourself: would the Doom movie be better, or more acceptable, if it wasn't based off DOOM? This and many more questions- like what the heck happened to Rosamund Pike's accent?!- as we kick off a new and thrilling season of The CineMEH Podcast!
