S3E6- Venom

Do you have that adrenaline momentum? Are you thinkin' it's time to go get 'em?! They ain't gonna know what hit 'em! Not when Eddie Brock and his symbiote are on the scene, anyway! This week on The CineMeh Podcast Josh and Ryan are taking on Spiderman's greatest nemesis: Venom! Except... except that Spiderman isn't in this movie... and that's actually kind of a problem. We discuss the strengths and weaknesses of Venom, and we're not just talking about really loud noises- something this film is absolutely full of. This episode also goes into the deeper lore of the Spiderman universe and what is keeping Tom Hardy's realization of this character apart from the MCU's friendly, neighborhood web-slinger. If you love the comic books! bad news, this isn't really the story of Venom you're looking for. But if you are looking for a self-aware, ridiculous, thrill-ride romp, then buckle up and tap into your inner antihero. That's right, Venom IS a Taylor Swift stan. Hi, he's the problem, it's him. Venom was released in 2018 and stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, and Malcolm Murray. The CineMEH Podcast is a Slyjack Media, LLC production Like what you hear?
