WeGoLive - May '24 In this episode, Scott is joined by Greg Snow, Sergine, and first-time guest Red Lion to talk about Ripe Poetry’s week-long trip to Houston Texas to perform spoken word as a team. The episode focuses mainly on the crew's performance at WeGoLive on Friday, May 24th, 2024.  The episode begins with telling the backstory of how Red Lion and Scott connected at WeGoLive in 2023 through Houston-based curators Scott Free & Courtney B. The conversation continues by sharing how Red Lion became a bit of a mentor to the entire Ripe Poetry collective over the past year.  As the episode picks up the team shares briefly about their experience at WAN (Write About Now) on Wednesday, May 22nd where Miss Spoken Poet was featured. Throughout the episode personal stories are shared that give honor and encouragement to all the five Ripe Poets who made the trip.  Towards the second half of the episode, the team focuses heavily on the WeGoLive event exclusively. Greg shares the rundown of the night's flow and each guest talks about the overlapping Ripe Poetry set.
