S5-E18 Romantic Elevators (Happy 50th Anniversary!)

Send us Fan MailOn May 5, 1976 (exactly 50 years ago) I, Edward Jeffrey Hill, married Juanita Ray in the Mesa, Arizona temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. To celebrate that momentous occasion I am inserting a few bedtime stories that feature Juanita from that time period. In this episode, published on the 50th anniversary of our marriage, I tell about when I gave Juanita Ray her engagement ring in 1976 in the Wilkinson Center elevator between the second floor and the Sky Room. I relate how this led to a tradition of passionate kissing in what must be called romantic elevators!
