S5 E21: Dropping In

After gathering some new supplies, the group begins their trek into the desert. The day is spent following the mountain range, each member of the party prodding Faerlin for details on how to find the hideout. Eventually Faerlin caves, offering up a landmark to look for. Just as they decide to set up camp, the wind begins to blow and a shadow above them blocks out the sun. The shadow is caused by a large metal airship and Trix notices the symbol on the ship belongs to the Bloodbeards, a guild that once rivaled their own Onyx Serpent. A voice calls out, asking if they’re coming from Sparrow’s Landing. Though Eight confirms this is accurate, Rou and Trix tell them to make a run for it. Despite their best efforts, their escape fails when the ship fires and disables the cart. The fight carries on for some time, Eight Jr making an appearance and Trix blasting the engines. However, when Eight casts a mirror image spell and several images of Trix appear around the cart, the pilot’s response leaves everyone surprised.
