. What up, mom? Put down that coffee and grab a wine. Get ready for another episode of Nursing and Cursing, a parenting podcast that covers more shit than your baby's full diaper. I'm Kate. I'm a stay-at-home mom of three in Brooklyn, New York. I'm trying to figure out whether I should go back to work, have another baby, or spend the rest of my life waiting for my fresh direct order. Hey, I'm Christine, a video editor and a mom of two living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Allie here, podcasting up in the mountains in South Kona, Hawaii. I work as a real estate agent and a mom of two boys. Hey, I'm Molly. I'm a teacher raising two kids in St. Augustine, Florida. And I'm Sarah, a new mom to one sweet babe living in Brooklyn, New York. Between five busy households, it's a miracle we make it on the mic at all.
But trust me, we need this as much as you do. Hey, guys. Welcome back to Nursing and Cursing. Girls, you there? I'm here. I'm here. Hi. Okay, cool. We're out, Christine, this week. Happy birthday. Aw. Happy birthday, pretty. Happy birthday, pretty. HBD, girl. We miss you. Yes. So, ladies, this week, you know, I have gotten a lot of requests for this topic, and I don't know why we haven't had a topic that is all focused on this, but the witching hour.
Oh, hell yeah. Oh, hell no. The witching hour, like, oh, yeah, before you have kids, you're like, oh, yeah, he's cranky. Right. Oh, I'm going to bounce a little, you know, we're going to bounce for a while. Poor thing. Uh-uh. No. Why? Why? Well, Holly, when you say the witching hour, like, what time of day, what do you mean? Like, what exactly do you mean? Well, the witching hour for me in my house is and always has been.
Probably like between somewhere in there between 4 and 7. Or shit just fucking hits the fan. And when infants are involved, it's out of control. Because you can have an infant that cries that entire time, which I did. Both my kids did. Yes. I did. Right when four o'clock came, it was like, okay, can't calm this baby down. Have to chop vegetables. Can't put the baby down. You put the baby down and they're a mess. The only option is to go outside. Go outside or nurse or whatever. They want you to put all your shit down for three hours until they're sleeping at bedtime. Sarah's right. Go outside. Even though it's like, it's fucking bedtime. It's time to go. It's time to pack up your store and get out of here. Right. Right. And then.
you know, Ali's right. Like there's so many other things to be doing at that time, but also when you're a new mom and listen, we still have the witching hour. Okay. My kids are five and two and a half. And we're still, excuse me, we're still dealing with it. Please. My 12 year old just texted me from upstairs and said, mom, I can't sleep. I mean, it never newsflash. It changes, but it never ends. Wow. Yeah. I got my kids. I got, I picked my kids up really late today. Um, after 5 PM that doesn't feel great for me personally. So I'm a teacher and usually I'm getting ugly around four. Okay. But today was like closer to five 30 and by then they're starving. Starving. We got no dinner on the table. I still have to come home and cook it. And when I say cook, I'm, I'm heating up a frozen pizza. Okay.
That's what I mean by coffee. That's what everybody means. That's what everybody means. I'm microwaving broccoli, frozen broccoli, frozen chicken nuggets. They're great. Sarah, the fact that Sarah's doing that is now making me feel good. No shit. What the hell? I don't do anything. I do not cook. I don't cook. Tim is the one who does. Okay. Your husband does the cooking. We have like role reversal. He does the laundry. I do the.
Trash. You've got some shit really figured out. You do? Oh my God. Not my department, bitch. He's so unhappy about it. He's like, I got the fucking PhD. You can cook. Exactly. Dr. Sarah be nuking those nuggets, so it's okay. That PhD didn't come from nowhere. She ain't no dummy. I ain't no fool.
OK, so today our witching hour started when we it started when we were still on the road. And I was like, oh, shit, when that happens. And, you know, like your kids are burned. I had to take Goldie into the elementary school lobby to pick up Augie from his extended day program where you just have to like wait and they walkie talkie the name in and then he comes out, takes a few minutes. And she was doing your kids in the car. I know. I wish I could. She was doing that thing where she like gets a crazy look in her eye and then just opens her mouth and screams the loudest blood hurtle scream.
And then sees everybody's reaction and her eyes dart around the room and then she keeps doing it over and over again. Was it smiling? No. Oh, she's pissed. And the lady behind the desk is not, she doesn't think it's cute. So I had to take her out and blah, blah, blah. And then it just went downhill from there. Just.
crying and fighting and oh so that's like that's a little bit more like it's my witching hour maybe Ali's but like what is it I feel like what does it mean for like what does it mean like a newborn because I feel like it's it was one of the most shocking things for me about having a baby like every day I was like it's gonna be different today but it was weird no matter what I did when I napped them when I fed them whether we had a busy day or a quiet day ding dong every fucking evening was the same hell And it's part of, okay, there's like the nursing all night long that you know is coming or, you know, the crying in the middle of the night that you know is coming. But even when that four o'clock hour rolls around and we have said it a million times on this podcast, the anxiety in your chest sets in with the witching hour. That's when it started for me. Yeah, with that first, with that first like irritable cry. That's right. That sets it off and you know it's not going to stop. Yeah. And it's just a fuzziness that doesn't, they're just so fussy. Even like giving them to dad. How about when you give the infant to dad and they're like, no.
They just want to hand them right back to you because they think, you know, oh, no, they need mom, they need mom. I just remember always holding a kink in my neck and always holding the infant button, needing to put the pasta on or whatever it was. Like it's a time of day when you got to be doing other things. And it's so frustrating. And it's so weird when you have a second kid. I was just thinking that too. It gets so strange when you have a second kid because it's, it's so, um, it's a hundred percent unmanageable when I mean unmanageable. It's like, you literally only have two arms and one head. It's now time for a quick sponsor break.

That's betterhelp.com slash nail. That's betterhelp.com slash nail. That's betterhelp.com slash nail. Get to it. And two boobs. When you just said that, 100% unmanageable. The math doesn't make any sense. The math makes no sense. 100% unmanageable.
That's exactly how I felt, Kate. It's just motherhood. Or two kids. More than one. Multiple. It is basic math. The ratio from four to seven, the ratio needs to be one to one. So if you have four kids, you better have four fucking parents now. Honestly, though, from four to seven, I feel like it needs to be two on one because, yeah, it's too much for the person who's been with the baby all day.
And most of the moms who are listening, it's like dad's not even home yet at that time. Right? Or mom's not even home. Whoever's got the baby, it's usually, they're not even home yet. That is when I installed the husband tracker, which I still use, as you know. And I would be tracking or just texting, like, what's going to be home. That's the worst feeling because I don't want to be, like, you know, I just, like, can't wait for someone to come home and relieve me. But they're not coming home to relieve you. They're coming home to take their shoes off. Yeah.
Oh, I got to get home, too. And then, like, I'm a disappointment because, like, the baby's screaming. The baby's a disappointment. You are doing great. She's saying I'm and she's talking about all moms when she says I'm. I'm talking about all moms, but I'm talking about, like, the dyad, the mother-baby dyad. Like, we've not done our job. PhD. I'm Googling the word right now.
What does that mean? It just means we're a duo. I'm so sorry. I wish I'd never said it. I love that you said it. You just die out of small death.
Oh my gosh. Okay, so now, though, we've got some older kids. It's still happening. Molly just explained what hers looks like. Kate can see what hers looks like. Mine right now, you guys, I've got two kids that we've started school. Everybody's in the start of the school year. And I have a first grader who is going through a fucking awful transition. There is nothing going on in that classroom that is a problem. The teacher is wonderful. The school is loving. He is just having a hard time. And he's so angry. And he's taking it out on me. And he's crying in the mornings. And by the time the witching hour comes...
for him it's an anxiety inducing time where right now it's a fucking hell period all over again because it just means he's looking to the future tomorrow's the school day and he's taking all of it out from four until bedtime on me and it's so hard and i'm just trying to get my head above water wow that is so hard i'm so sorry yeah gotta go sorry it is wow yeah that is so hard and it's like it's just part of the um we've had this conversation a million times too the back to school transition the more kids you have the more likely it is that one of them's not going to make the jump. I mean, that's it. That's what it is. Like not everybody is going to, you're all holding hands, like running at the jump. Not every kid makes it. And every year.
you have a kid who part of the process is exactly what you're describing. I mean, maybe it's just around this time. I get like moms texting me about how horrible it is dropping their kids off at school, either for the first time or whatever, like with you guys. And then I see it also on the Facebook mom, like mom, Facebook groups, everybody's saying the same thing. I'm in hell. Yeah. It's not everybody. Cause I look around and most of the first graders are really happy and well-adjusted and the other parents are like, no, she's having a great time, which is how I know it's a healthy environment there. But yes.
there is a handful and I've got two or three friends that are like, Oh my God, I'm going through it. And that's so helpful. It's totally, it's the number of people that you see. It's like, it's not maybe the norm, but it's normal. It's normal. Right. And let's bring it back. I'm just saying, even I can pick him up right from the car and I realized, you know what? He's actually had an okay.
you know, too. They're smiling when you pick them up, right? But then that witching hour sets in, you guys, and it's not eating the dinner, running away from the table, hitting me, don't make me go there, running away when it's trying to brush teeth, scream, you know, and it's, so right now for me, I hate the witching hour. And you know what, you can actually identify, Allie, that that's, that's what it is. Yeah, he's told me, I wouldn't do this to you, mama, if you didn't make me go to school. I know, you don't love me because you make me go to school, all of that. Okay, so, and.
Is your husband around for this? Yeah, and he's hanging in. But, you know, he's so much easier to crack that he's, like, pulling me aside going, what's happening there? You know, he's like, is he being abused, basically? Oh, my God. That's exactly how JJ would be, Allie. He would be like, it's any explanation except our kid is just having a hard time. That's right. It's anybody else's fault. You have to ask that. You have to, like, ask that question to just rule it out from the get-go.
Can I just make an observation about the witching hour, though? I feel like it's partly because it's partly the fault of the way, like, the way that we are living our lives is, like, there is no room for the natural rhythm of a person's day. There is no room for that rhythm at all. Like, the reason that we all get so stressed out in the evening is because we all have to wake up early in the morning and we have shit to do. You cannot just let your kids naturally unwind and eat and come down from their day at whatever pace works for them. Because everybody has to fucking be in bed by 7.30 because you've all got to be up again at 7 in the morning. And you've been doing so hard all day.
And you've been going so hard and you've all been going so hard all day because everything that Allie is talking about happens at my house and the witching hour happens in a variety of totally normal ways around here too. But guess what? It doesn't happen during the summer. We don't have the same. I mean, yes, people are tired at the end of the day, but the flow is so much easier for us to manage. And even having an infant, part of the stress is like, part of the stress is that mom knows she's going to be on probably by herself all day the next day. And that's not natural. And in the night. And in the night. And that is a lot. Anyway, I'm just saying. It's a really good point.
A lot of it is like the consequence of all the pressure that we have. Right. It is so true. And I, and the days that I have to leave my kid in extended day or aftercare, whatever you guys call it feels like I'm a teacher. I see it. Some kids love it. And my kid actually, he actually has a great time, but it's just too long of a day. Yeah. Kindergarten dude. Like he should probably be like picked up around in the twos, but I work, you know?
And the key word that you said there, Kate, you make a really good point. And when I think, yeah, it's not really like that in the summer because I don't have the internal anxiety at that hour. And I'm like, I got to get going. And they're picking up on all of that. But rhythm, the rhythm is the key word, right? We're trying to instill this rhythm during that time so that they can basically get enough rest so that they can get food and enough rest. And when you get a rhythm, children are healthier and happier. And without going insane, add homework to that fucking shit show. Impossible. For the moms with babies, with little, little babies who are maybe experiencing this for the first time or they're maybe experiencing the witching hour with two kids for the first time. Do you guys have any hacks?
At all. Like, even if it helps a little bit. Bath time. That's what I was going to say. Like, run the bath first thing. Like, have the bath ready. Yeah. Don't worry about ever doing the bath too early. You can't do the bath too early. Like, whenever shit starts to go awry, just turn on the water. Because it helps. Because they have so much fun in there. True. And going outside was an amazing tip, too. Yeah. And maybe I did figure this out when I had my second. And I was home from maternity leave.
making the dinner during nap time. Right. Oh yeah. As much as much of your evening routine do at 9am. That's right. Because it's so hard to do, but if you can't shut it down, just shut it down so that you can nurse your kid or whatever. Just be there with your baby. We're always trying to do a million other things. Right. And it's like, and don't like, I mean, this is an advice, but it helped me. Don't go too far down the rabbit hole trying to figure out a rhyme or a reason or a pattern. It's.
Because I remember like, right, it's going to change as soon as you think you hacked it. It's going to be totally different. It's now time for a quick sponsor break. Guys, let's talk about Care Of, which is a subscription vitamin service that delivers vitamins right to your tour. But these vitamins are personalized. They are tailored to exactly what your health and wellness goals are. It's fall. It's coming up on fall. It's a new school season. Let's take this time to set our goals and...
maintain our stress, and upgrade our health routines. We can do this first by taking our online quiz at Care Of, because that quiz lets you know exactly what it is that you need. It asked me questions about my diet, my health goals, my lifestyle choices, and it only took me five minutes to complete. So when I took the quiz, it said, do you want to know about general health or a specific need? And I was targeting a specific need. I then took it a step further and clicked on brain. Hello, I've got mom brain, you guys, nursing brain, whatever you want to call it, but that's an area where I think that I...
I really need some assistance. So then the questions were like, how's your short-term memory? How many fruits and veggies are you eating? Simple questions that we're really targeting. So it was interesting and helpful, and it was fast. It can be really hard to know what vitamins or supplements you should be taking, but Care-of makes it easy to find out specifically what you need. I remember when Witching Hour passed, it was like suddenly time for sleep training. I remember being like, run this fucking train. Never stops. And finally, if you are the mom who works and you had to put your kid in care pretty early, just go easy on yourself. So easy on yourself.
Okay, nailing it and failing it. You guys, I need to tell you a nailing it that I had over the summer when I wasn't on the podcast. Okay. Traveling with Duke at the Loan, coming home from New England to Florida. Flight delayed for four hours. And was in one of those terminals where there just was not a lot offered. This was Boston. And I remember being like, oh, there's legal seafood. And then realizing there was a line. You guys, the line was like.
A hundred people long. I'm not, I am not exaggerating. So I'm like, where the hell is the pizza? Where the hell is any kind of fast food that I could just like figure out to feed these guys? Because they're going to be starving. So I pop Goldie in the stroller and I'm like dragging Augie along and I'm like, okay, we got to figure this out. And I swear it was like an angel, this lady in a suit saying, ma'am, ma'am, you look like you're looking for something. Can I help you? Oh my God.
Yeah, you can help me. It was some airline lady. I'm like, I'm just looking to feed my kids. I cannot figure out this terminal. And she said, here, and gave me her card. And she said, download this app. You can, basically, you guys, order from the app. They will find you in the airport. It doesn't matter if you're ordering from two terminals over. Basically, I sat down with my kids, quickly downloaded the app. This is not an ad. Guys, this is not an ad. I downloaded this app. It popped up all of the restaurants available. There were maybe a dozen of them. Obviously, I immediately clicked on Sparrow.
Yeah. I go to the notes, extra sauce. Give me two slices of cheese pizza. Give me a side salad. Don't you feel so rich when you get to make an order like that? Even if it's like not a lot of money here. Like I was like, I'm like the other shoe is going to drop. Like, is this going to be like a hundred dollars surcharge? What is this? I get all the way to checkout. It's the normal menu prices with no delivery fee. I don't know if that's because I was new or what I click it. It charges my card. And then I wait.
And about 15 to 20 minutes later, I get, it was kind of like the domino tracker where it's like, we are getting your food ready. Okay, our person has just left the facility. Oh, they're on their way to see you. Look for somebody in a blue shirt that says blah, blah, blah. when you see them wave them down and like another angel i look up and there's a dude with like a big hot case delivered food to me on my delay it was so crowded one of those things where i couldn't even get up because i'd lose the seat and i fed my kids dinner it was the best fucking mom shit yeah yes oh my god okay wow it's an app i should tell you guys what the app is right oh yeah not an ad you guys not an ad but this is just something that's going to change your life if you are at the airport with multiple kids or a stroller baby or whatever so i clicked on it and i saw so it's called at your gate And there are many different airports that, that does it. So you guys next time you're in an airport, check it out. So that was my nail biggest nail of the summer. I felt my fail. A summer spent with the people you love in places you never go. Like guess fucking what? Okay. So my fail is my sweet baby daughter, girl, my two and a half year old client out of her crib.
And you guys know this, but I'll share it with lips and nose. She climbed out of her crib. She cries and cries and cries at nap time. So I put her down. She screamed crying, like really hard crying, but very normal for her. And I went back in maybe three or four minutes later just to like rub her on the back. And when I walked in the room, she was on the floor and she was not her normal color. And she was writhing and her eyes were rolling back in her head. So emergency trip to the ER and then an ambulance ride to the next better ER children's hospital. And for many hours, she was not.
moving her limbs on her own and her eyes just kept rolling back and they had her neck brace it was like a very dramatic awful scene and we really truly did not know what was happening um but she is fine everybody we're so happy so it's not too much of a fail but she has a broken collarbone and she had a pretty severe concussion that when she did come out of it's like she immediately came back to life about three and a half four hours into it um she was like back into herself Oh, buddy. Wow. Like I always said, Oh, she's going to call out of her crib one day. She's going to climb out. I mean, so many kids do, but I didn't think we have a rug. We have wood, but there was a rug. I don't, she had a really big, um, red purple bruise on her face. I don't know. I don't, I don't know how long she was laying there. They kept saying like, did she lose consciousness? I was like, I don't know. I was putting my kid to bed because he had the flu. I don't know. Anyway, but she didn't get the flu. She didn't get the flu.
You got to really pull the camera out. You had a crazy fucking week. You had a hurricane. Your kindergartner had flu. You guys were missing work and evacuating. It was just one thing after another. Hard, hard, hard, hard. And you fucking sailed through it. You did. I thought you did amazing. I thought you were heroic. Thank you. It has been go, go, go, go. So Tim texted me the other day. I'm not coming home. No, he texted me. I have not been able to process what happened because it was like right back into work and house guests.
I realized, okay, we both have not. So we're going to have this weekend when we have some downtime. But whatever that means, go in a quote process. Wow. She's awesome. Resilient. She's amazing. Do you want to talk about it at all? A little bit, yeah. She like brags about it. I climbed down my crib. I don't do that again. Oh, boy. But no, there's no crib. We've got the crib mattress on the floor and we're working on getting a bed. But she's got her sling and her broken bones. I'm not quite ready to go to the bed, but I'm going to when she's feeling better. Good for her.
yeah anyway that's that we love you goldie glad you're doing okay love you molly too thank you i have a pretty i have a good fail okay so i um maybe a month ago i got a sports related injury i um was taking off my sports bra and i full-on injured my shoulder oh well I'm telling you, it hurts so fucking bad. Sarah, did you work out before or after? Were you just wearing a sports bra? I do a new thing for my mental health where I go on a 20-minute walk in the morning at least two days a week. I know this sounds like the most minimal amount of exercise that any person should get. It sounds amazing. That sounds so good and healthy. Very important for me. Anyway, so I was doing something like that. Something probably doesn't require a sports bra, except now my breasts are so...
floppy that i do require a sports bra to walk so but taking the sports bra off for me is so hard it's like i just find it so anyway i pulled my shoulder like i internally rotated that's what my chiropractor said i internally rotated my shoulder and the front of it hurts like if i carry anything it is painful sometimes if i'm just sitting here while i'm sleeping it's throbbing So it was a very embarrassing sports related injury and I'm just going to call it that. Yeah. Why don't you just call it a sports related injury and drop the embarrassing part. Yeah, I will for sure. Right. She's processing it here and then it's going to go. Yeah. Sports injury. That's all right. Sports related injuries. Oh my God. Oh God. Sorry about that. That's okay. Thank you. I don't, I'm not sure that I have a nail.
I don't know. I've been pretty relaxed with Francis lately, even during the witching hour. And I feel pretty, I feel pretty good about that. You know, when they just like fucking whine and come back at you with like every single question I ask or thing I say is like, no, you know, like please sit on the potty. No. And it just goes like just so casual about it. And it can infuriate me, but I've been trying to just take a breath and be like, who fucking cares?
My two-year-old is, you're dumb, and anything you say to her, she says, I don't care. Oh, boy. Because she learns from her brother. I got a little boy that does the same thing, and it is brutal how young they do it. She said it to me today, you're dumb, and then I said, blah, blah, blah, and I said something, and she said, I don't care, and ran out, and Augie said, he said I'm gonna go to my room because I deserve to go to my room because I taught her that oh wow okay yeah Phoenix will be like I just don't want him to talk to you that way mama I just really don't like it when he talks to you that way I'm like hmm wonder where he learned it right like my kids also lose each other but it's not because they're worried about my feelings it's because they all are like oh don't set please don't set her off so you're gonna say something that's gonna get all of us in bed at 6 45 They need to vary a little bit. Yeah, they need to vary a little. My fail is that I was out for eight hours today. And when I walked in, I realized I left my fridge doors wide open for some reason all day. Just walked out of my house without a fucking care in the world. Bye. Dang it. Dang it. Dang it. Dang it. Like done meat, milk, cheese. Done. And pretty much done. Colder than I expected, but yeah, pretty much done. And my nail is, I said, if you guys forget to tell daddy about that, that's fine. And Edie said, Edie in fourth grade said.
Not my first rodeo mom. I got you. Oh, wow. She gets it. She gets it. Just do not need to have that conversation. So moving on. Okay. My fail is that Tuesday I had a very different day. And my kids know when the schedule has to change. So I was swapping out a morning meeting for a Tuesday instead of a Wednesday. So I was prepping them really early. Okay, you guys. Like maybe on Monday or Sunday even. I was letting them know, guys, this week on Tuesday it's going to be a different day.
Mom is not going to be there in the morning when you go to school. I have to leave very early and go up north. Daddy will take you to school. And then so-and-so is going to pick you up from school, Leo. And so-and-so is going to take you to swim, Phoenix. And then after that, another auntie will pick you up and then mommy will get you at six o'clock or whatever. And I was just being very clear on how the day was going to go. But it just, okay, here we go again. It induced so much fucking anxiety that it was going to be a different day, which big deal, but I'm learning. So by the time.
And on Monday night, when I was saying goodnight, it was just like all tears from the bunk bed from both of them. And they were both like basically screaming and sobbing. I can't do it. I can't do it. Oh my God, Allie. Guys, what the fuck? I was saying stuff like, finally, I'd go in and say, it's no different than any other day. You just go to school. Somebody else is going to pick up. So the next morning I went off to, I gave him kisses in the morning. I went off to my morning meeting in Waimeo, which is like almost two hours away. And I'm sitting at the meeting as it's starting.
And I get a text message from Peter and it says, I've got Phoenix with me. Come pick him up on the job site. What are you talking about? Oh, sorry, buddy. I'm in Waimea. Like I'm far away. Nope. Not going to happen. Basically he dropped Leo off and it was okay. And Phoenix was having like an anxiety attack. And, um, he said he brought him back to the truck and he was just like sobbing in the car. I can't do it. He just worked himself up. Like it was going to be some kind of a big workup deal, crying and crying and crying. And so Pete took him.
to work with him for the day he dragged branches and went to work with daddy for the entire day wow ally i know so yeah i was infuriated like oh my god but then i just thought you know what i'm totally gonna let this go um I made a mistake. I know. My kids are not the type to prep them beforehand. I just need to let the day roll and call the school and be like, oh, so-and-so's going to pick my kid up. Because if they're rolling through the motions, it's not a big deal. And with Pete, too, I was like, oh, God. I just wrote the text back like, oh, you got worked. You totally got worked. Right. You're bad. You're bad, not mine. Okay, bye. But as I thought about it, I was like, okay, you know what? He probably learned a shit ton at work with his dad. He's probably working hard. Yeah, and it wasn't empty, but not your problem. It's not my problem.
Anyway, that was my lesson though, not to, and some people like Molly, I know you do that, but your kids really need it. And I think I'm the opposite where I need to scale back and not give them a big heads up on what's happening. I don't tell my kids shit. Right. And I know that, but I had a slip up. I don't know. I went back to amateur mode. I don't know. I'm having a really hard time. No, it's your anxiety because you're, you're, you're prepping for it. That's where I have to catch myself. Like I, that's me all the way. It's my anxiety. It's not my kids. Right. I'm stressing out about it and I don't.
My urge is to tell them because I feel like I'm preparing them. But actually, I'm just sharing my stress. So I just need to shut the fuck up. And I will tell them that we're going to the dentist as we pull up at the dentist. Exactly. Exactly. And that's mostly how I do it. But it must have been my own anxiety. I'm having a really hard start to the school year, like I've explained. So that's been part of it. So yeah. But my nail is I picked up two awesome chairs today, you guys, from like the 1800s. These antique chairs for 10 bucks that I'm so thrilled about. Why haven't we already seen a photo?
I'll send you guys photos. I did take a photo, but then, whatever, the day got away from me. So, I'm stoked on that. I feel super stoked on my chest. Hell yeah, girl. Truly the 1800s? Are you serious? That's what a woman said, but when I saw them, when I walked in, they definitely took my breath away and stopped me in my tracks. They're just like petite little chairs that, you know what, in New York, you guys would probably just keep on walking. No, I doubt it. Send a picture. You have such an eye. Yeah.
Okay, you guys. Well, to all those moms and dads out there dealing with witching hour, we're with you. We know. We're with you. It's hard. And yeah, we're psyched to be back. Episode two, we will see you guys next week for another episode of nursing and cursing. Happy birthday, Katie. We love you. Wait, can I stop you right there, Molly? Sure. Kate, what's up with your tattoo? Everyone wants to know.
Oh my God. Oh, um, I think I must've been ovulating when I thought that was a good idea because two days later, Jeremy and I had the most blowout fight and I literally was like, I was going to get a tattoo of your name and I'm so fucking glad I did it. And we've never discussed it since. And I've never revisited the idea. Okay. Great way to end the episode. Great. Oh my God. Thank you for that. Okay. Love you guys. See you guys next week. Bye. Bye. That's it for now. Check you guys next week for another nursing and cursing where we won't tell your husband that you accidentally let your kid eat a cat turd.
