S7 Ep11: The Good Glow with Roseanna Ruane (Saoirse and Mamma)

This week on The Good Glow podcast I speak to Roseanna Ruane. Roseanna and her daughter Saoirse captured the nation's heart when they appeared on The Late Late Toy Show this year.After being diagnosed with cancer when she was just 7 years old, Saoirse and her family have been on a very difficult journey over the past year. Not only having to endure 9 months of chemotherapy, Saoirse had to have her leg amputated which was a devastating blow for them all. It's still very raw, but today Roseanna bravely tells me about what they have been through. She shares her story too, things about her life that she's never discussed publicly before. She tells me her husband Ollie was diagnosed with cancer when he was 30 and how they tried for years to conceive their second daughter Farrah Rose who is turning 2 in January.Caner didn't take Saoirse's love of life and her beautiful personality.
