Saint Lucia and IICA Explore New Opportunities to Transform Agriculture

Saint Lucia has welcomed a high-level delegation from the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) as the Government seeks to expand partnerships aimed at transforming the agricultural sector. Discussions include scholarship opportunities and the development of cocoa, specialty coffee and other value-added industries. The partnership is expected to create new opportunities for farmers and entrepreneurs while strengthening Saint Lucia's agricultural products, including honey, sea moss and chocolate.
