Saint Lucia Recognized by Commonwealth for Modernizing Public Debt Management

Saint Lucia is being recognized by the Commonwealth Secretariat as a model for effective public debt management among Small Island Developing States. Officials say reforms within the Department of Finance, including the implementation of the Commonwealth Meridian Debt Management System, are improving transparency, strengthening decision-making, and positioning Saint Lucia as a regional leader in debt management practices.
