Saint Lucia Strengthens Climate Reporting and Transparency

The Department of Sustainable Development has completed a three-day technical workshop aimed at improving Saint Lucia’s climate reporting and meeting its international obligations under the Paris Agreement. The programme examined greenhouse gas emissions, climate policies and progress towards the country’s Nationally Determined Contributions. Participants also focused on data collection, emissions reporting and performance monitoring. Feedback from the workshops will contribute to Saint Lucia’s reporting to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and strengthen the country’s enhanced transparency framework.
