Sanctification: Sin Just Gets In The Way Of Everything

Greetings everyone, and may mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. We will be in Hebrews 11 and 12 today. The people we read about in the Bible share their stories of their faith, and how God's promises were fulfilled in their lives. But their lives weren't perfect, and neither are ours. We all have one thing in common and that's sin. God doesn't want us to repent for the purpose of our sins for the purpose of salvation, we can't do that, that's what Jesus was sent for. We are supposed to repent, because the sins of this world get in the way of the blessings of God. When we become Christians, we enter into a relationship with the creator, and sin just gets in the way of that relationship. When we do sin, we may end up being disciplined by God, but it's because He loves us and wants what's best for us. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20You can reach us at facebook.com/hbchillsboro.
