SANGO NTSALUBA – EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN AND CO-FOUNDER OF NMT CAPITAL (PTY) LTD

Sango Ntsaluba has been an Executive Chairman of Amabubesi Investments (Pty) Limited since 2006 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He is a Founding Member of Amabubesi Investments (Pty) Limited. Ntsaluba has wide experience in various areas of business acquired over a period of more than 20 years. He moved to Transnet as General Manager in Group Finance, he then became an Executive Director responsible for Restructuring and various operations which included, Telecommunications, IT, Rail activities and Road freight businesses. He has been a Non-Executive Director at Basil Read Holding Ltd since July 2006.He serves as a Director of Ubank. He has been Independent Non-Executive Director at Barloworld Ltd since July 2008.He has been an Independent Non-Executive Director at Digicore Holdings Limited since April 2006.He has been Independent Non-Executive Director at Pioneer Food Group Ltd. since November 2015.He is a Founding member of SizweNtsaluba VSP, a successful firm of accountants and auditors and Neotel, the second fixed line operator in South Africa.He serves on various public sector boards, including the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) and National Housing Finance Corporation (NHFC).He served as a Director of Neotel (Pty) Ltd.During his time at Transnet, he was seconded by the then Minister of Public Enterprises, where he was advising government on the setting up of the National Empowerment Fund (NEF) targeting the previously disadvantaged persons.He also served on the Black Economic Empowerment Commission, thus implementation of the BEE Codes.Ntsaluba holds BCom from University of Unisa and CA from South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
