SAPS urges MPs to respect active investigation protocols

SAPS national spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe has cautioned that Members of Parliament are required to use formal communication channels when engaging on issues linked to active criminal investigations.This comes after the arrest of Fadiel Adams, who also serves as an MP and leader of the NCC, over allegations of fraud and defeating the ends of justice. Police say the matter is linked to the investigation into the killing of former ANC Youth League leader Sindiso Magaqa, with allegations that Adams interfered with ongoing probes.
