Sarah Baldwin - Goodnighties

from The Boomer and The Babe Radio Network Hosted by Deborah Louise Brown

Sarah Baldwin's journey as a Baby Boomer Entrepreneur began in January 2010 and what a 'journey' it has been! She earned an 'Express MBA' and she has 'tips & suggestions' that would be helpful to others heading down this path. It is a business paradigm she created all by herself. After 15 years, Sarah's husband lost his executive-level job from a Chicago-based publicly-traded company in Nov. 2009....at the time she was hitting menopause along with experiencing sassy teenagers (hers). It was a less than wonderful existence to say the least. Sleeplessness started to ruin her life and she consequently went on line looking for a solution for the problem. What happened next was strange and interesting at the same time.Sarah randomly found sleepwear called 'Goodnighties' and knew by name alone, it was something she needed badly. She bought a pair, and much to her surprise she started to sleep through the night! After a couple of weeks of this, she apparently healed her creative 'right-brain' and decided to dust off her corporate background (NutraSweet, Ice Capades, and others) and for the first time in her career, she 'cold-called' the manufacturer to offer her professional services. The rest as they say is "history" and you can hear about it on today's show as we talk with Sarah Baldwin about Goodnighties and the science behind them.
