Satiated Episode 113: Creating A Nourishing Relationship With Physical Movement

from Satiated Podcast · host Stephanie Mara Fox

Happy Satiated Saturday! I truly believe our bodies love being in movement. Yet, movement or exercise has become synonyms with losing weight and changing our bodies. This has made it that physical movement is now either worth it or not worth it, beneficial or pointless, effective or ineffective. ALL movement can be supportive to the body, even if you're just sitting in a chair swaying to music. Today, I talk with Kim Basler, Food Freedom and Mindset Coach, speaker and coauthor of the best selling book, Owning Your Choices, stories of courage from inspirational women around the world. Her global reach has allowed her to support 1000s of women with self love, finding peace with food and their bodies and improving their mindset to become the best version of themselves. In this week’s episode, we discuss what has broken our relationship with physical movement and how to begin stepping into a more nourishing relationship with being in movement in our body just as it is.You can also read the transcript to this week’s episode here: https://www.stephaniemara.com/blog/creating-a-nourishing-relationship-with-physical-movementSomething that Kim and I also discuss on today’s call was the Institute for the Psychology of Eating. I have been a teacher at this Institute for the past decade supporting individuals in healing their relationship with their food and body and becoming certified as Mind Body Eating Coaches. You can learn more about the Institute for the Psychology of Eating here (a new class is coming up in March!) https://ipe.isrefer.com/go/MBECClandingPage/spollock/Looking forward to connecting with you all again next week. With Compassion and Empathy, Stephanie Mara FoxKeep in touch with Kim here:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kim.basler Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kimbasler_foodfreedom/ Website: www.kimbasler.com Email: [email protected] Book A Discovery Call with Kim: https://calendly.com/kimbasler/discovery-call-45minEmpowered Movement Membership: https://portal.kimbasler.com/offers/d7pczNhD/checkoutKeep in touch with Stephanie Mara here:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/_stephaniemara/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/stephaniemarafoxWebsite: https://www.stephaniemara.com/Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephmara/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@stephaniemarafoxContact: [email protected] thanks to Bendsound for the intro music in this episode. www.bensound.comSupport the showKeep in touch with Stephanie Mara:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/_stephaniemara/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/stephaniemarafoxWebsite: https://www.stephaniemara.com/https://www.somaticeating.com/Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephmara/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@stephaniemarafoxContact: [email protected] the show:Become a supporter: https://www.buzzsprout.com/809987/supportAll affiliate links: https://www.stephaniemara.com/resourcesReceive 15% off my fave protein powder with code STEPHANIEMARA at checkout here: https://www.equipfoods.com/STEPHANIEMARAUse my Amazon Affiliate link when shopping on Amazon: https://amzn.to/448IyPlSpecial thanks to Bendsound for the music in this episode. www.bensou...
