Satiated Saturdays Episode 32: Dread Walking Into The Closet? Healing Your Relationship With Clothing

from Satiated Podcast · host Stephanie Mara Fox

Happy Satiated Saturday! I remember when I was a teenager both loving and hating going to the mall. I loved hanging out with my friends or family. Trying on clothes was often a disappointing experience. Loud music, horrible lighting, warped mirrors, individual's knocking on the changing room asking if you're alright. It can all feel incredibly overwhelming including the potential loud harsh internal voice that might arise around your unique body shape. Over the years, I have explored within myself and with my clients cultivating a very different relationship with clothes where clothes get to be used as a tool to support you in feeling the way you want to feel in your unique body.In this week’s episode, I offer some steps you can take to enter into a brand new relationship with your clothes that can support you in embracing and accepting you exactly the way you are. You can also read the transcript to this week’s episode here.If you experiment with this new relationship with clothing, absolutely let me know how it goes!
