I would often overextend myself and drain my own energy just to make sure you liked me. That is really what is often at the core of people pleasing. There is a belief that if we're always there for everyone else we will be loved, accepted, appreciated, and worthy to be alive here in this world. When you put everyone and everything before yourself, food can often come in as a way to support you in feeling seen and cared for. In this week’s episode, I discuss the importance of saying No and setting boundaries. We will also explore a new definition of what it can mean to say No. If you have struggled with binging and confused as to why this pattern with food keeps happening, this is the episode for you!
