Save America From the Use of Issues for Problems, AKA, "to go along to get along" Sam Rayburn
from The American Enterprise Manifesto: My America's Vision of Peace and Nonviolence for Humanism · host Jerry Rhoads
From my book The American Enterprise Party Trilogy (Volume II Exhibit F), Page Turner Press, 2022: This test is for eliciting your opinion for what is a problem versus just an issue. An Issue is to be tabled as a compromise call for reform. A classic political stall tactic so the voters forget how that problem was squelched or perverted into a law with regulations that take away our freedoms. “Being politically correct is to go along to get along”, Sam Rayburn. “What is the difference between a cynic and an agent of change . . . the cynic creates the problem then calls it an unresolvable issue and the agent of change defines the problem and imposes a solution.” –Winston Churchill In my world, a problem you have to attack with vigorous solutions, an issue is an argument that only ends in an emotional deferment awaiting the crash dummies to prove it is a problem. Jerry Rhoads, author this is why The American Enterprise Party must become the swing vote to break ties and prevent gridlock of the two-party system at every level as a solution for our ineffective issue debating “go along to get along” Congress and Presidency. Then we can “get along to go along” after our problems. Is it a political woke Issue or a social Problem? My definition of issue is a “no worries” discussion not taking responsibility for or making a commitment to, pursing an argument while a problem is a plan to pursue a solution. The biggest abusers are the mind control freaks in politics, social media and news reporting. This slight twist in reflection freezes creative thought and tables every problem for compromise or calling for reform of thought thus deferring and avoiding constructive positive thought. My biggest problem is listening to everyone, including my family, calling a problem an issue. What’s the difference anyway? Well look at the definition of a problem (a life changing incident that needs to be avoided or solved by change with facts and resolution) and Issue (a disagreement between two entities, human or otherwise, that disagree on an argument affecting both parties and not requiring facts or a solution). In politics, since that’s where such propaganda starts, the art of compromise is the justification for calling problems issues and reforms as the goal is to go along to get along. As Sam Rayburn taught LBJ … if you want to get anywhere “your way go along to get along”. In other words, fake the problem into an issue that doesn’t require an action unless you decide it’s a problem for your solution. Aha, so that’s what’s happening in our country with a gridlocked no consensus Congress, a frustrated society and woke being the word of the day to further corrupt rational thought, so the followers are following followers into subservient conclusions. Following is my test of your preferences as designating it as a problem or an issue. These are mine based on our gridlocked no consensus political system that isn’t interested in solving problems just passing laws that continue to erode our freedoms and cause social wars, financial jeopardy and conflict despite your political party preference: quoted from The American Enterprise Party Volume II: American Enterprise Manifesto Exhibit F, page 510: Example ... guns are the problem while crime is an issue. Life has issues seeking an opinion, life has problems seeking a solution ... politics seeks issues and cause problems. People seek solutions to problems and discuss then argue issues. The greater good is served when individual people take responsibility for solving their own problems not calling them issues to table for the government to solve later. Resulting in a Covid-19 Pandemic of fear controlling our common sense into nonsensical solutions that results in the many getting hurt while the Few are designated as essential workers during a national lock down … that was a lot worse than the disease.
