Scams and Fraud Safety

When someone is walking through loss and grief, it’s important to recognize that vulnerability can make them a target for scams and fraud. The Assistant  District Attorney of Montgomery County, Jamie Sulla, is interviewed by Dr Gayla, to gently remind individuals to be cautious with personal and financial information, especially when approached by unfamiliar callers, emails, or messages claiming urgency or offering unexpected benefits. Learn how to verify identities before responding, avoid making quick decisions under pressure, and consult a trusted family member or advisor when unsure.
