    Widowhood Part 1

You are changing, evolving, adjusting, and growing. Learning to accept these changes takes time. It is a process, and with time, that process becomes progress. The heart and mind do not quickly keep up with the drastic changes that come after loss. For me, simply learning to “be” helped me slowly find joy in each day again. Over time, those small joys began to include the new changes in my life.Widowhood is not just about “getting through” the loss. It is about learning how to adjust to a new realm of life.Step by step, these major changes will begin to make room for you. This lesson is Part One of a two-part lesson called Widowhood - the layers of adjustment. In this podcast lesson, Dr Gayla will share:Four types of days you may experienceSix areas to focus your mind and heart onEach step will help you understand where you are, what you are feeling, and how to continue moving forward with grace, strength, and hope.www.griefguideministries.com

    How to Overcome Death

This amazing information begins with a original song written by Dr Gayla 'See Ya'll Soon', and ends with another one of her songs, 'Above the Pain'.   The subject of death and what God's Word says about it, is a critical part to begin to heal after the loss of a loved one.  You CAN begin to heal after hearing this lesson 'How to Overcome Death'.  Be sure to share this one with others!  This contains important information not recorded before. But this has the power to  change your life and your future forever.  You DO NOT have to remain in the pain of grief.  Listen and learn the truth.  Her music is available on all platforms.www.griefguideministries.com

    This is Not the End

What is the real reality after you lose a loved one?  And how do I  keep my faith while going through loss?  'This is Not the End' is a inspiring lesson of truth and historical records to build your faith upon.  The mysteries of life  and death are in another realm, but this is NOT the end! Though loss and death can feel like the final chapter, the hope we have in Jesus reminds us that this life is not all there is. Jesus conquered death through His resurrection, breaking the power of the grave and opening the door to eternal life for all who believe in Him. What feels like goodbye on earth is, for those in Christ,  just a temporary separation—not a permanent ending. Because of His victory, we can hold onto the promise that love lives on, hope remains, and a glorious reunion awaits. In our deepest sorrow, we are comforted by the truth that Jesus turned the darkest ending into the most beautiful beginning.  This is a lesson to be listened to again and again! The original song on this episode is  by Dr Gayla Holley is called 'This is not the end'.  Available on all music platforms.  The book The Horizon is available on Amazon. www.griefguideministries.com

In the midst of mourning the loss of her husband, she may also struggle with the loss of identity, purpose, and the life she once knew as a ministry partner. Yet even in this painful season, God remains faithful to guide her steps, strengthen her heart, and remind her that her calling and her life are not over. The Lord is able to breathe new hope into broken places, giving wisdom for each day, comfort for every tear, and direction for the road ahead. Though the journey through grief is difficult, God’s promises assure her that she is not abandoned, and that a new season of purpose, healing, and strength can still rise from the ashes of loss.  This interview will greatly encourage the hearts of every widowed ministers wife.  Music 'Sacred Secrets' by Dr Gayla Holley is available on every major platform.  GGM Books and materials are available on Amazon.  Find out all the details on our website.  www.griefguideministries.com

Learn how to verify identities before responding, avoid making quick decisions under pressure, and consult a trusted family member or advisor when unsure. Taking a moment to pause, verify, and seek support can help protect those in grief during a time when clear thinking may feel difficult.  This is a VERY important lesson to listen to.  You don't have to become a victim due to scammers and fraud. The beautiful ending song is a Country Western song named,  'Healing Feelings' produced by Dr Gayla Holley www.griefguideministries.com

    Discover What Broken Built

It's time for a self check... often we become so focused on our broken heart, we never see what the experience actually has taught us.  We can be in denial, or the ‘never agains’ decisions or the curses of retaliation, or just keep living in the bitterness of the whole wretched mess, but none of these can ever bring healing to the broken places in our lives. People who have been through countless losses over life and who have come out on the other side with internal fortitudes, a deeper trust in God, and many creative abilities that were found inside the problems were able to do so because...?? This lesson holds a secret about those who have studied their losses, learned from them, discovered the strengths that were found even inside a broken heart.  You too can find that  a new and better version of self is being built behind the scenes.  And it's often without our own knowledge at the time.  What a great lessons this is for all those who are ready to discover what broken has built. www.griefguideministries.com

You are right… this unfortunate thing happened and one can choose to stay unhappy about it in that reality.  Stay right there. But then…. Contentment is a word too, but with a very different outcome! One of peace because I decided to let go of all my yesterdays and its people that were in my life then.  Replay or Replace is a very REAL word that can set you free!www.griefguideministries.com

Listen and see if it resonates in your own life too!www.griefguideministries.com

    Letting Go of Yesterday

Yesterday has a powerful pull on us, and wants to keep our hearts tied to what WAS every single day.  All it takes is one passing thought, and we are looking behind us again. And we don’t often pull back to ‘today’ but instead can set down and start to stew right there… by opening cans of worms that only provoke our peace.  But here is a statement of trust and truth, that according to the Word of God…The further one grows in progressive grief, the easier it can get to stay in the present, and begin to build a future ahead.  But often the temptation is to tie our yesterday over to our tomorrow and when we see the gap, we cannot fathom how our lives can go on without them. This lesson will help you relate to Dr Gayla's personal experience as well as encourage you with wisdom for the 'now' place in life. www.griefguideministries.com
