I almost got scammed on facebook marketplace todayI was so excited something was selling, I almost didn’t notice the red flagsLuckily, I did a quick search on the scenarioAnd learned it was a very common techniqueSelling your stuff is hard on many levels.Several times in the hours since reporting the buyerI wished things were differentAnd then i remembered what a trap that can beWanting to leapfrog nowAnd get to a better futureThe thing is: that better future is a pictureNow is a multidimensional relationshipAnd when i remember thatMy nervous system settlesThe space in the room welcomes my participationMy houseplants support meEven as they remind me they could use a drinkThe relationship might not be fancyBut it’s realI’ve been contending with the relationship betweenEffort and graceVisioning and presenceDiscipline and tendernessWanting to be different, and learning to stayThere’s so much nuanceSo much spaceSo many times veering off the pathAnd so many times coming back to itThat’s the practiceComing backRememberingBeingThen getting riled up again about somethingAnd coming back againIn this time with so very many question marksI can understand advice to visualize what I wantBut what I want is truly to recognize God in AllTo become more and more sensitive to and in relationship withThe divinity all around usAnd in flow with curiosity and careAnd I believe the internal feeling of being and connectionIs a more tangible marker of success thanMy bank account or house or carBut, I do need a bank account and house and carAnd so here again, I experience the back and forthStepping into my role as creator of my own experienceAs I surrender to Divine AuthorshipInhale, exhaleLeft foot, right footDexterity through the full range of motionSue Choi’s work contextualizes walkingAs the infinity resolution built into our designTo let us know we go out of balanceAnd come back into itA thousand times per dayGiving us a foundational knowledgeThat we can come back to centerIt’s in our nature, our designIt’s a lovely contextA beautiful reminderBecause sometimes I think I’m rightAnd sometimes I think I’m wrongBut really, I’m just humanAnd in my wholenessThere’s room for all of itAnd so I come backRememberingBeingAgain This is a public episode.
