We often try to hide our scars from God and from others. But our scars, our wounds and weaknesses, can actually lead others to the Healer. Even Jesus has scars. His scars testify of His love for us. Likewise, our scars testify of His compassion and healing in our lives. We can boldly show our scars because others will see Jesus through them. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. John 20:20
