Scott Garvis is a Certified Master Athletic Administrator (C.M.A.A.), author, consultant, and one of the nation's leading voices in athletic leadership. With a master's degree in educational leadership from Drake University and a master's in sports management, Scott has dedicated his career to being a purpose and mission-driven servant leader who inspires students, coaches, and administrators to pursue excellence and positively influence the lives of others through educationally-based activities.Recognized as a National Athletic Director of the Year Finalist by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association and recipient of the Bruce Whitehead Distinguished Service Award from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, Scott has presented to athletic administrators across the country and published extensively in professional journals.He is the author of "Selling the Passion: Athletic Fundraising & Development for Athletic Directors & Coaches" and "12 Principles of Highly Effective Athletic Administrators."
