En abril de 2023, la cifra de negocios de la industria en España se desplomó. En concreto experimentó una caída del 8,1% en comparación con el mismo mes del año anterior. Pero esta caída, que es preocupante, no es lo peor. Hay dos aspectos que deben alertar a los responsables de política económica. En primer lugar el hecho de que se rompa con 25 meses consecutivos de crecimiento interanual y, en segundo lugar, que este -8,1% representa el mayor hundimiento de la facturación industrial desde enero de 2021. Si lo comparamos con marzo, la cifra de negocio se contrajo un terrorífico 17,7%.
