Sean B - Be Still and Know God - Meeting 160

Sean came into the rooms of AA on May 22nd, 2019 after coming to the realization that he was unable to regulate his emotional state without a drink. Hequickly recognized there was a large gap between the expectation of where hethought he would be in life and the reality of where he was. Whilehe was able to stay sober for a year, he half measured the steps and didn’tmake much spiritual progress. On February 27th, 2020, he came into the Spiritual Gangsters fellowship and threw himself into the steps, and abandoned himself to God. In that process, he has learned much about addiction, emotional sobriety andcodependency. He has worked with over 30 sponsees, and maintained 3 years ofsobriety from hard drugs and alcohol.  The pursuit of Stillness and God have made a massive difference in his own recovery.Reco12 is an organization with the mission of learning and sharing the similarities of addiction of all kinds and gaining and sharing tools and hope from others who are walking a similar path.
