Searching for Signs of Survival
from Apophenic
In the spirit of making changes to both my podcast and Patreon, let's try something new today. Here is a rough demo I recorded into my iPhone back in July called "One Sunday in Autumn" but it's appropriate today since it's 9/29. You'll understand it if you give this tune a listen. It's about The Cost of Inaction.Like I said in my last post, we get to create the culture. We do this in the things we make – and present – to the world. Even though it's not 100% finished, I'll be performing this song live on Saturday in a socially-distanced outdoor show in my neighborhood, so I'll get some feedback on it – but I'd love to hear your impressions of it as well. Don't hold back. Here's my plan: Future posts of this type will be for patrons only. I intend to share more unfinished works, and get into some behind-the-scenes processes and struggles. Why for patrons only? I want this to be a community of those who really want to be here – not just to listen, but to participate. This stuff is fascinating to me, and maybe it is to you as well. I will be honored to have you with me on this journey."You might be ready to go, but I can't carry your soul..."For more of my (finished) music: https://michaelboezi.com/music Happy creating,Michael–Credits: Lyrics by Michael Boezi, music by Bob Bradshaw and Michael Boezi.©2020 Control Mouse Media, LLC.
