This instilled in her a passion for ministry. —At age 11, Cyrena felt called to missions after hearing her mom share stories from a South Africa missions trip. —In high school, Cyrena received a prophetic word that God would use her to reach the nations. —In college, Cyrena struggled to find her identity and purpose. She strayed from her faith and made poor choices. —God brought Cyrena back to Himself in a beautiful story of redemption during her senior year of college. —Cyrena met her husband Dave during college. They married and had two daughters, Gabrielle and Evangeline. —Both daughters were born prematurely and faced life-threatening medical issues. God miraculously healed both girls. —Cyrena has served in music ministry for many years as a worship leader and in a Christian band. —In 2016, Cyrena traveled to South Africa for a conference. She felt affirmed in her call to missions. —Cyrena joined Stagger International, a missions organization focused on reaching global youth culture. —In 2017, Cyrena and her daughter Gabrielle went on their first missions trip together to Eswatini. —In 2019, Cyrena felt God calling her to pastoral ministry. She’s currently pursuing her credentials. —The murder of George Floyd in 2020 was a pivotal moment for Cyrena. She felt God telling her to listen to His voice and follow His leading.
