On October 9th, 1985 Sarah Pryor told her father she was going for a walk. She walked along Concord Rd. in Wayland, MA for over a mile and was seen by several witnesses. After this she was never seen again. In 1995 a skull fragment was discovered by a person walking their dog. It was approximately 3 miles from where Sarah vanished in October, 1985. The skull fragment was confirmed by DNA testing in January 1998 to be Sarah’s. The family could finally give little Sarah a proper burial. On January 13th 1998, she was laid to rest on the same day she would have turned 22.Hadden confessed to this crime, but was never charged. In letters and phone conversations Hadden speculates about how Sarah died.Hadden claimed in letters that he was the last person to see her alive, and said “she was a cute girl”. Once again Hadden says her whole story is in the root cellar.
