On October 9th, 1985 Sarah Pryor told her father she was going for a walk. She walked along Concord Rd. in Wayland, MA for over a mile and was seen by several witnesses. After this she was never seen again. In 1995 a skull fragment was discovered by a person walking their dog. It was approximately 3 miles from where Sarah vanished in October, 1985. The skull fragment was confirmed by DNA testing in January 1998  to be Sarah’s.  The family could finally give little Sarah a proper burial.
