In this weeks true crime podcast Tony Ciaglia discusses with Hadden Clark how his older brother Bradfield wound up in prison for murder.In Los Gatos a small town south of San Francisco in June 1984, Bradfield Clark -- two years older than Hadden -- invited a co-worker Trish Mak to his apartment for dinner. Bradfield tortured and murdered the girl then dismembered her body with a kitchen knife and actually cooked some parts on his BBQ grill. He wrapped the rest of the pieces in garbage bags and stored the bags in his Datsun 200 SX, Two days later he called the police and turned himself in. In June 1985 Bradfield pleaded guilty to 2nd degree murder and was sentenced to 18 years to Life.Clark was in the Navy at this time and was stationed on a ship in Alameda Ca. close to his brother. Hadden told Tony that he was there the night his brother killed the girl and claims he has never told anyone this. He said his brother was so drunk and drugged up that he doesn’t even remember Hadden being there.Clark discusses in morbid detail on phone calls and in letters how his brother brutally tortured and murdered the girl. If this is true and knowing what we know about Hadden he may have helped his brother or even did the killing himself.
