Season 3, Episode 03: Kelly Bond, Adventure in the Everyday

from The Future Edit · host Kelly Ekardt

“Sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom to finally find yourself.” For Kelly Bond this was the case. After finding out she was having blood clots in her lungs and legs while pregnant, Kelly had to start digging deep within for strength for herself and for her small child. Having a child in general without any complications is difficult enough but having a life threatening condition takes being a brand new mom to a whole new level. This week I chat with Kelly Bond about her journey from being a pro-athlete, to finding out about her health condition to becoming a new mom to hitting rock bottom to where she is now. Kelly is the head of marketing for Inspired Ventures, an instructor at Bear Grylls Survival Academy, Chief Happiness Officer for the World Happiness Project, an Adventure Catalyst for Three Beacons and an ambassador for The Salty Club. Kelly’s mission is to encourage women to find their strength through adventure and the outdoors. She wants women to find their power within themselves, to find their joy in the everyday and to love their life fully. Please join me in this beautiful beautiful conversation with Kelly .
