Season 5 - Lamentations: Seeds of Hope - Chapter 1 - Andy Withrow

We would love to hear from you!For our Lenten study, we are looking at the book of Lamentations and uncovering the seeds of hope scattered there as the poet describes the emotional experience of exile. These 5 chapters are individual eulogies which serve as a funeral for a dead city (Jerusalem) and a dead nation (Israel). This week, we read about the suffering depicted in chapter 1 which was a result of Israel's habitual sin and the threads of mercy which are spread throughout the book.
