Gala Finală a Concursului Internațional de Canto din cadrul Festivalului Internațional Ionel Perlea, ediția XXXV-a, desfășurată duminică, 24 mai, la Slobozia, a adus pe scena Sălii Europa a Consiliului Județean unele dintre cele mai promițătoare voci lirice ale noii generații. Marele câștigător al ediției aniversare a fost baritonul Sebastian Balaj, în vârstă de 29 de ani, care a obținut Trofeul „Ionel Perlea” și Premiul I, oferite de vicepreședintele Consiliului Județean Ialomița, Mihai Neacșu.
