‘See Ability, Not Disability’ Campaign Promotes Inclusion and Acceptance

The Ministry of Persons with Disabilities has launched the “See Ability, Not Disability” sensitization campaign to promote greater awareness, inclusion, equity and acceptance of persons living with disabilities. The campaign will use billboards, social media content and a documentary featuring accomplished persons with disabilities to challenge perceptions and highlight their abilities and potential. The initiative forms part of broader efforts to strengthen disability inclusion, including the development of a National Policy for Persons with Disabilities and a National Disability Registry to improve decision-making and the delivery of support services.
