See Yourself More

Often times we tend to "look up" to others. Social media is a catalyst for comparison and all things external. When we spend so much time consuming externally, while our internal being patiently waits for acknowledgment. We see others and it's like "WOW, I want to be like them" but these people in our lives are simply reflections of us. They mirror what already exists within us - so we can then see ourselves. They can show you the traits and qualities you already contain, that are patiently waiting to be tapped into. Reduce the amount of consumption during your day and find the birthplace of creativity. You have so many gifts waiting for your recognition. How may you recognize this abundance when you're in a constant state of distraction? You are an endless, infinite being. To see yourself is to not necessarily idolize others and place them as being above or better than you. We are the same. Maybe the only difference is ones gumption and belief in themselves - which mentally is a simple "click" begin. My teacher Wissam shared with me "Don't take anyone as a role model. When you were 6 years old you looked up to many teachers as wow. After you learned what they were teaching you, they would not be wow anymore." First, you may observe qualities in someone else. Then learn to see these qualities in yourself while implementing them into your life.
