Seeing Through the "Metaverse"

What are your thoughts on the incoming technological machine termed the "Metaverse"? This virtual reality is coming for us. I am all for evolution, but there are serious consequences to increasing our technological involvement at the expense of our humanity, our bodies, our hearts and our access to human connection.
