Seeing What the Prophet Missed: Balaam’s Donkey & The Centurion’s Faith (Day 86)

Who truly has "eyes to see" what God is doing? Today in Numbers, we follow the prophet Balaam as he sets out to curse Israel, only to be stopped in his tracks by his own donkey, who sees the Angel of the Lord when the prophet cannot. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus challenges us to examine the "plank" in our own eyes and to build our lives on a firm foundation. We then meet a Roman Centurion whose spiritual vision is so clear that even Jesus is amazed by his faith.Today’s Scripture:📖 Numbers 22:21–23:26 – The famous account of Balaam’s donkey and the Angel of the Lord. Despite King Balak’s pressure, Balaam finds that he can only speak the words of blessing that God puts in his mouth.📖 Luke 6:37–7:10 – Jesus concludes the Sermon on the Plain with warnings against judgment and the parable of the two builders.
