Eine weitere Frage, der die EY Jobstudie 2023 nachgeht und u.a. zu diesem Schluss kommt: „Am zufriedensten ist das Top-Management sowie Arbeitnehmer*innen, die den Führungsstil im eigenen Unternehmen als gemeinsam und gleichberechtigt bewerten.“ Dennoch geben ihre Zufriedenheit mit dem Job im besten Fall gerade mal 55 % der Top-Manager*innen und 54 % der Auszubildenden an, während leitende Arbeitnehmer*innen sich nur noch mit 34 % zu einem glücklich und zufrieden mit ihrem Job bekennen. Dies scheinen nun nicht die besten Voraussetzungen zu sein, um innovative und leistungsfähige Unternehmen hervorzubringen. Viele haben den Eindruck nichts wirklich entscheiden und bewegen zu können, oder empfinden sogar, dass über ihren Kopf hinweg entschieden wird. Ein Gefühl der Ohnmacht und des ausgeliefert sein macht sich in weiten Teilen der Beschäftigten breit.
