Sēmeion I: Deception, Satan’s Greatest Weapon

Sēmeion is Greek word for ‘Sign’ which means the following: •A mark by which a person is distinguished from others and is known; •An unusual occurrence that surpasses or goes beyond the normal course of nature; •An indicator or warning that a remarkable event will happen soon and; •A sign can be miracles and wonders by which God authenticates the men sent by him, or by which men prove that the cause they are pleading is God's. For example: A. The fact that Jesus Christ was the Son of God was proven several times by signs and wonders amongst the people — Acts 2:22 B. Even the Roman Soldiers believed Jesus was the Son of God after they crucified Him because of the signs they saw - Mathew 27:50-54 WHAT IS DECEPTION? 1.
