Sermon - "Mama...Help!" - Clash of The Titans - Pastor Jazz Cathcart

Bible Reference:  Luke 4:1-13 Young Ray Charles discovered that the taking AWAY of ONE of his senses... radically and powerfully INCREASED the strength of the others. Young Ray losing his ability to SEE, gave him the ability to SENSE in ways that he never could have otherwise. His limitation SERVED him as the backdrop to becoming one of the greatest music artists of all time.  This is the nature of fasting... denying oneself food and/or other pleasurable things in order to strengthen one's spirit and draw closer to God Himself.  Fasting has both physical and spiritual benefits and was a part of Jesus Christ's own journey through the wilderness and temptation to making an impact on the world that has forever changed history and altered the future of the Universe for the glory of God.  Advisory: Please consult a medical professional before fasting if you have any physical concerns or issues that could be negatively impacted by going extended periods without food.  May God bless and increase you, and give you grace to prosper in all of His purposes for your life.  Message by Pastor Jazzion Cathcart in July 2025 during a Hope City Fellowship Sunday Service in Asheville, NC hopecityfellowship.org
