Session 44 - Loneliness

from Global Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy Podcast

If you are a reader, then there's bound to be some books in your collection , in your library of books that you haven't yet read. I came across one such book the other day. I had been sorting out stuff, tidying up and for some reason this particular book was left abandoned, isolated on it's own in the midst of a neatly organised book shelf. The book is by Henri J. M Nouwen and the title: "The Inner Voice Of Love". - "A Journey Through Anguish to Freedom." Nouwen, was a great spiritual writer. I dipped into this book as I had done so some years back.    The book was written at a time in the life of Nouwen, when he was in total despair, nothingness and loneliness. And in the midst of his despair with the assistance of two people, who supported him in his total despair, Nouwen managed to write everyday about his experiences. Despite his anguish and despair, his writing didn't suffer. For over 8 years he hid his writings from public eyes and only upon friends urging him, did he publish, and the result is the book mentioned above.
