We cannot diminish the rewards that come from the God of our understanding. The reward of a better life comes from making better decisions. More rewards and less consequences is the result of living a hopeful happy life in recovery. The light we radiate is often met with envy and nay-sayers. We must set boundaries against those who would attempt to dim the light we radiate during recovery. In a grateful recovery, there is no limit to how much we enjoy helping someone other than ourselves. The fact is the more we give the more God gives us to give.  Our ability to radiate grateful happiness means we must set meaningful boundaries to ensure and protect our recovery.  Most often we must set boundaries and learn to love some from a distance.
